Guides
Managing positions.
Follow an Obol ladder: read its price range, bins, value and PnL, claim the trading fees it earns and close it in one transaction.
Every ladder you open shows up in Positions. Click one to open its full page.
The positions list
Each row shows the pair, V3 or V4, fee tier, shape and bins, the range status, the current value in dollars and tokens, and the unclaimed fees. Claim and Close are available directly from the row.
The ladder page
| Section | What you see |
|---|---|

| Price range | Min, current and max price with the matching market caps and distance from the current price. |
| Liquidity distribution | Every bin with its price range, holdings and dollar value; hover a bin for details. |
| Composition | What you deposited vs what you hold now, and the split between the two tokens. |
| Activity | Open, fee claims and close, with timestamps and explorer links. |
| Details | Ladder ID, pool, owner, contract, tick range and age. |
Range status
- In range: the current price is inside your ladder. Fees accrue when the bin at the current price holds liquidity.
- Out of range: the price left your range. The ladder is fully in one token and earns nothing until the price comes back.
- Closed: liquidity withdrawn. The page stays available as a record.
Claiming fees
Click Claim fees
The dialog shows the fees earned, the 7.5% protocol fee and what you receive.
Confirm in your wallet
Your liquidity stays in place; only fees are collected.
Closing a ladder
Closing withdraws the liquidity of every bin, collects all unclaimed fees and sends everything to your wallet in one transaction. On V3 the position NFTs are burned. Closing cannot be undone, but you can open a new ladder at any time.
You receive
$92.50
Protocol treasury
$7.50
Your deposit (the liquidity itself) is never charged. Closing a ladder returns 100% of the liquidity plus the fees, minus 7.5% of the fees only.
