Getting started

Your first ladder.

Open a ladder in a few minutes: pick a token, a pool, an amount, a shape and a range.

This walkthrough opens a single-sided ETH ladder on a memecoin. It takes a couple of minutes and one to three wallet confirmations.

Before you start

You need a wallet connected to Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663) with some ETH for the deposit and for gas.

Steps

  1. Pick a token

Open Pools and choose a token. Its page shows the chart, the market cap and the position builder.

  2. Choose a pool

The pool selector lists the token's Uniswap V3 and V4 pools with their fee tier, liquidity and volume. V4 pools paired with native ETH take your ETH directly; WETH pools wrap it for you first.

  3. Enter an amount

Type how much ETH (or USDG) to deposit. You can leave the token amount at zero: your ladder will then sit below the current price as buy orders.

  4. Pick a shape

Spot spreads evenly, Curve concentrates near the price, Bid-Ask concentrates at the edges. The distribution chart updates live.

  5. Set the range

Drag the min and max handles on the chart or type market caps. The default is -30% to +40% around the current market cap.

  6. Review bins and slippage

10 bins and 0.5% slippage are good defaults. Slippage is enforced on-chain: if the price moves more than that before your transaction lands, it reverts instead of opening at a worse price.

  7. Create the position

Confirm in your wallet. Depending on the pool you will see up to three steps: wrap (WETH pools), approve (ERC-20 deposits) and open. Native-ETH V4 pools need a single transaction.

After opening

Your ladder appears in Positions. Click it to see the range, every bin, fees earned, PnL and the activity history, and to claim fees or close it.

Check the pool

Low-liquidity pools move fast. A wide range and more bins make a ladder more forgiving; read Know the risks before depositing large amounts.
